Parkinson's rule, or how to overcome your laziness?

Parkinson's rule, or how to overcome your laziness?

Welcome to Matchit.me! We hope you have already entered an active work week and are ready for new tasks🔥

Is it time to talk to you about how to properly divide time? Or why tasks for which there was more time are completed longer than those where the deadlines are "tightening" 🫤

This is how the law works on us - Parkinson's. Less time - more effort, more time - less effort 😱 If it didn't sound strange😅

We are all human, and very often we do everything at the last moment purely because of the emotional charge we get at the time. In psychology, this is called proscartination. This is an obsessive tendency to postpone matters until the last deadline ("there is still time", "it can be done tomorrow", "it will wait"). We consciously delay time. Before sitting down to work or study, we arrange smoking breaks, snacks or endlessly review unnecessary information.

So, how do you do everything on time, and not succumb to mind drifts into space during important tasks?

Some tips: 🔹Determine clear working hours. Conditionally, you work on the project from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and that's all. let the whole world wait. And strictly follow the schedule :)

🔹 From the very beginning, plan everything qualitatively! And identify all possible spontaneous tasks that can affect the deadlines, the achievement of the main goal👌

🔹 Clear roles and responsibilities Everyone should clearly know what he is responsible for. so the work will be done, and there will be no shifting of blame to someone :) Agree in advance on what is included in the project and what is outside of it.

🔹Set a schedule, discuss your expectations and desired end result, then set a completion date based on that information.
